Stitches and seams

Kári's college is closed today due to a strike, just like last Thursday and Friday, and I'm still not working due to recovery after the operation.
We slept late and in the afternoon, while I was tidying up after the photo exhibition, Kári tried his hand at sewing with a sewing machine.  He needed a little bag made of fabric and decided to use old discarded trousers for the project. 

Daníel changed the tires on our car today and now we are ready for the long drive to Reykjavík later this week.
It's more than two weeks later than last year and I really hope we don't get too much snow in the coming months...this was our drive over Öxnadalsheiði moor on October 3rd 2014.
