the first of three days of the snp conference with the family. I really enjoy the voting aspect of the conferences (even if the resolutions are a bit obvious and non-controversial sometimes on the run up to an important election). we met loads of folk we knew, watched many of them on stage and I went to a couple of fringe events with gillian: one on scotland's food and drink industry which focused on food poverty and then a common weal one at night where some new scottish currency options were discussed. food for thought!
