Blown away....

By this astonishing building. The detail on every wall and ceiling was incredible. What a day! It started at 6.30 as we realised that we had to join the queue to buy tickets for today. A very few are available each day the others are bought online up to a month in advance. We hired a taxi to get there before the first bus load only to find that 200 other people had already established a sizeable queue. The office opened at 8am. We found two queues. One for credit cards the other for cash and we joined one each and managed to get afternoon tickets at around 8.30. So pleased we did make the effort. It was spectacular in every sense. We did run out of energy after a four hour visit and sadly it started to rain rather heavily so we abandoned the garden walk and headed back for a warm shower and some dry clothes. Now to find some supper and head to bed early
