Autumnal mists
Today we did a 14k walk which was unusual as it was through mist and mizzle all day. It was English autumnal weather and it leant a totally different aspect to the scenery, which the Irish would call 'soft'. The colours were mellow and there were spiders' webs in the undergrowth and we even found quite a few large parasol mushrooms which will go down well with my dinner tonight and the visitors' lunch tomorrow (see extra). The other photos can be seen here.
