Go West!

Mono Monday's theme is travel, so this is my old faithful Silva compass sat on an OS map of one of my favourite places. When I was a lad I spent many a happy hour in orienteering exercises and competitions, I was an air cadet and you can just imagine how it went down when the scouts and army cadets organised a competition among the local youth groups ... which we won ;-)  Here's a tip - you can only do this once - they quickly realised that map & compass practice and some running training were our two secret weapons.
