And it's hasta luego to Erik....

Erik is a really nice guy from Sweden who has been working as a physiotherapist in Altea for the past 12 months and now he is off to Grand Canaria for the next 6-8 months. He is saving up to pay his way through University in Sweden where he is studying Public Health. He has been a very good friend to our daughter, Laura (with the sunglasses). On Erik's right is Sarah (from Holland) - another friend of Laura's and Laura actually renamed her as Sarah as her own Dutch name is very difficult to pronounce! "Sarah" doesn't seem to mind :). On Laura's left is her little sister Sophie - she of the dichroic glass jewellery fame. The shop in the background is famous in Altea as it is "Open All Hours" which is the literal translation of the name. And it really is open all hours - it sells everything of course and the family who run it are some of the friendliest people we have met. The shop is just around the corner from where Erik lives so it will bring back good memories for him, I am sure....
