Bocas Del Toro, Panama

We've had an epic few days in Bocas Del Toro, an island off the carribean coast of Panama. It all started with our arrival onto the main island to meet Alan one of our oldest friends from home and his sister Emma and their new friend John. With them having to head to Panama City the next day we spent the evening doing a mini bar crawl around the island.

The next day we changed islands and checked into our new hostel on its very own island, 'Bambuda Lodge', which Chris and Faaria from Belize had told us about, where we were reunited with Sam. Bambuda Lodge is one of the nicest hostels we've ever stayed in with delicious food and a big swimming pool overlooking the sea. During our time here we've explored the jungle like island in search of sloths and located several luminous red frogs! Lou and Sam have done a day trip to Star Fish beach where they found an abundance of starfish and saw a family of sloths! Whilst I located a group of Catalans winning the champions league! We snorkelled just in front of the hostel and enjoyed the amazing dinners each night.

We also met up with Venetia and Amy once more and along with Ella and some more people from Bambuda Lodge, we had a crazy night out in Aqua Lounge, a bar built on the water. We spent the next day with the girls having several cocktails and a posh dinner accompanied by wine before saying an emotional goodbye as they left to fly home!

Now we're just about to hop on a boat back to the mainland where we'll catch a night bus to Panama City.
