Presents

This wild turkey, who has been lovingly named Henrietta, delighted and entertained me this morning, while I was having a little bit of quiet time. She was stalking the cats, and the cats were stalking her. When I sang to her, she stopped and listened for a while, and then I stalked her, and she played a little game of cat and mouse with me around the bushes, stopping to look and see if I was following her still. She obviously loved to play! This was, to me, the sweetest gift to start my day.
