Coracle Chronicle

It was the big news event of the day; probably the first ever coracle launch on the Union Canal. We resisted the urge to smash a bottle of bubbly on the wee craft's bow and drank it instead. Then it was up and down the canal for us intrepid sailors, providing great entertainment for multiple dog walkers, stroller pushers, bolshie cyclists and the odd canoeist. I should mention that the M's made the coracle themselves. I'm seriously impressed!

We were back in time to watch the rugby - absolutely gutted for Scotland. But they're a young team and should only get better. Next time ....
And we were well consoled by some fantastic nosh from G, as always. I'm stuffed!!
