Queuing.

It's 7.30 in the morning. Rough Trade opens at 8. I feel like a kid wanting to be first to read the latest Harry Potter book, only its something much better.
Tonight (the day of the photo) John Grant is playing at said Rough Trade shop to an audience of about 200. Tickets are only available to those who bought 100 advance copies of his new cd and a further 100 buying it on the morning. Hence the queuing. Given he's playing the Royal Albert Hall next year this will be a real treat to see him in a tiny intimate setting.
Just as hoped and expected the little gig was brilliant, and afterwards we had hot salt beef beigels from Brick Lane and were home by 9 pm.
Perfect.
