From a dozen hens kept in orange boxes in a backyard in 1906, to the biggest company of its kind in the world – that’s the amazing story of Thornber's, the Mytholmroyd-based business that transformed much of the Upper Calder Valley
Though its chickens are now history Thornber's remains one of the area’s most important business names.
I think it is rather nice that they have kept chickens as their company logo.
