Monochrome

After some rather dispiriting photography experiences this week, I was heartened by Andy Beel's seminar in Nottingham today on how to produce black and white prints.

This is a professional photographer who is unafraid to buck the competition trend and produces his own work with his own vision. 

I picked up a lot of useful tips and practices today on how to use Photoshop and Lightroom as well as being inspired by  his photography.

The meeting was organised by the East Midlands group of the Royal Photographic Society which meets every month to six weeks. Non members are welcome for a fee.

Len's brother Clive died this afternoon. He simply stopped breathing. We are so glad that he didn't seem to have last minute spasms.
