Teddington Lock
We all thoroughly enjoyed the ballet Romeo and Juliet last night. It was Thomas' first time to see a performance at the Royal Opera House, and he loved the music - especially as he is busy rehearsing some of it at the moment for a school concert so is very familiar with it. The costumes and sets were amazing as always - they have a very talented team in the costume department at the ROH and last night that talent was apparent once again. The dancing was superb, and one can only admire the grace and athleticism of the dancers.
We had a quiet morning at home, and after lunch Gavin and I went for a walk near the Teddington Lock. It looked like it was about to rain but when we got there the sky lightened and the light on the autumn trees was lovely. I have an extra of a beautiful autumn tree that is busy changing colour, and another one of the weir.
I did not watch the rugby but congratulations to Scotland on doing so well - I won't mention the score in case someone has not yet watched it, but they did brilliantly against a super rugby power like Australia. So...who will be in the final? New Zealand vs ?
