Finally managed to persuade one of the ladies at church to make the harvest loaf this year. I've been making it for years. with a diminishing degree of success - in fact, the last time I put a photo of one a facebook a friend commented that he really liked the novelty brain I'd baked.
How lovely when she produced this, a much better detailed loaf than I've ever managed.
