Beauty Berries

We went to visit friends in Maidenhead and I spotted this callicarpa in a garden there. I have never seen a plant with such strikingly coloured purple berries and I wasn't surprised they are sometimes calles Beauty Berries.

We had a great day  with L, K and their lovely kids and grandkids. Lovely walk along the river and plenty of gawping at the mansions lining the Thames.
