Great Egret

Since yesterday evening the weather has been pretty awful as we seem to have suffered from the tail end of Typhoon Koppu which has caused major problems in the Phillipines. During the night there were thunderstorms and for most of the day there has been heavy rain. There were some gaps where it eased off slightly but we have been very lucky up to now and it's not called rainforest for nothing. Despite that we have had a nice relaxing day and there are worse places to be stuck when it's raining.

A similar day is predicted tomorrow which means that we will have to miss out on a trip we wanted to go on but not to worry.

During one of the lighter periods of rain I was able to blip this great egret in the hotel grounds.
