She brought her harp ....
.... because they had asked her to play.
This is Zoe: artist, musician and activist playing her harp at the annual No to Hate Crime vigil organised by Norwich Pride outside the Forum this evening. Zoe's music provided a lovely gentle welcome as people gathered with candles. The event was short, less than an hour, with a few speakers and a two minute silence at 8pm, but nevertheless moving, powerful and moving.
I was asked to read a message which had been sent from 'Equal Lives' and Norfolk DPAC (Disabled People Against the Cuts), who were unable to send a representative, which I was happy to do.
And on this matter, yes, we are all in it together - harm done to one is harm done to all.
As an 'extra' you can see one of the candle arrangements placed at the event.
