A ballerina...

...I am not, but this pretty blossom in the garden is of the ballerina apple, an upright 2 metre generous producer of dark red fruit.
An enjoyable Sunday beginning with 2 hours on the mower; a delightful and unexpected visit from my cousin and her husband; a scheduled working visit by Adrienne and her daughter Zavier in the vigorous Spring garden and a couple of hours listening to Adam Nicolson's , The Mighty Dead(Why Homer Matters) while stitching  faded colours on rustic oatmeal-coloured linen. Very relaxing !
