Agony and no ecstacy.

Mr H. is bullishly confident that England will win a major trophy at some point during his lifetime. Even at his tender age it's not a foregone conclusion!

I am old enough to remember England winning the world cup. Will England win in Europe let alone in the world cup over the next 90 years? I'm not sure the political will is there.

As allways there are two spectacles to watch - the debacle on the pitch and the expressions of disbelief and horror in the audience. I wasn't using flash so many of my pictures are blurred - to the extent that one abstract shows nothing more than a horrible enlarged mouth surrounded by a blur of flailing limbs. This is so frenzied I must work on it more.

Meanwhile here is Mr H who is dumbstruck and stares on, unable to quite believe what has just happened.
