Truly rural ...
I don't know why the title I've given this photo became a family saying - if anyone knows, I'd be glad to hear - but I can think of my mother saying it from my early childhood when we visited somewhere or looked at some rural idyll ...
And this is surely just that: a rural idyll. Actually, my eye was caught by the enormous size of the pale golden bull lying in the middle of the field - in the late afternoon sun he looked like a lion, only bigger. And I find myself unexpectedly pleased to see the beasts in these fields, as several of the nearby pastures were lying empty with their gates open, the farmers having moved or sold out.
