Looking into a dahlia

We returned home from Cornwall today, it was almost like coming to another country as the temperature became colder, the trees were more autumnal and less flowers evident.

I visited the allotment to pick some vegetables and found that a 'little helper' has been looking after it and putting some hard work in, thank you.  I also photographed this dahlia which is blooming on an adjacent plot.
