Leaf fall

Day 5 (just a couple of hours today) of the great upheaval. The electrician came this morning to adjust the wiring in the central-heating timer, and the plumber came to check it over. We have hot water and warmth - luxury! A day free of workmen tomorrow...

Afternoon walk with MrM and Louie but, apart from that, spent the day at the flat, mostly cleaning and putting things back whence they came - the plumbers had moved things around and emptied a couple of big cupboards so they could put pipes in place.

Now to ready the spare room for MrM's son, A, who's coming on Wednesday to stay for a few days. He's blissfully unaware, as yet, that the bathroom may be less than complete during his stay...
