THE HUNGRY DONKEY

It was a wee bit nippy but still a beautiful sunny morning so I headed off on my bike up the hills to the reservoir at Hillend. On the way, I stopped to take a picture of two donkeys in the middle of a field. However, they both came over to see what I was up to and one of them must have fancied a change from eating grass as he had a good look inside my lunch bag. Fortunately I managed to zip it shut before he made off with my roll. I needn't have worried though as the cafe at Hillend Fishing Club had some lovely pies! (see extras).
