Autumnal woodland (Day 163)

The dogs pestered me to get up this morning and demanded that I take them for their morning wander up the hill. Although overcast, it was relatively bright and the wind still hasn't made an appearance.
I spent the rest of the morning doing paperwork and accounts and other dull chores, before heading to Wasdale with the dogs. On the way back home through the woods, I noticed this fungus hiding under a fern and I quite liked the colours.
I was home just in time to drop the dogs off and head out off again to collect my beautiful wife from work. She is currently engaged in her second favourite activity - burning stuff in the garden...
