Thompson’s Flouring Mills

 
Participating in a group bike ride today brought me to the Thompson’s Flouring Mills Museum located in Shedd, Oregon.
I’d never have found this place on my own.
Built in 1852, it is a marvel of 19th century engineering and is still functional with its water turbine powering the belt driven grindstone and other machinery.
