"I've spent up"

That is what Mum said after she made her last purchase at the Craft Exhibition in Gateshead Leisure Centre today. The crafts on sale were mainly for card makers and quilters, with a huge selection to choose from.

We liked the leisure centre which was easier to promenade around than the Gateshead Arena.  Mum was one of many with walking frames and/or walking sticks.

A large area was laid out with tables for lunch where people can be seen talking about what they have bought already.

We met my cousin Margaret from Sunderland, just by chance.
