Autumn sunlight

Last night I volunteered to help out at work this morning as my boss (one of!) was on his own with masses to do. When I went into work just after 10 pm it was quite bright and sunny if a little chilly. I left two hours later and virtually as I did the sun disappeared. 

As I left the shop, although the sky was starting to darken, there was still sunlight shining through the branches of this rowan tree giving a warm glow to the berries and the turning leaves.

I wandered round town and took a few other shots but there was little happening and it was becoming darker by the minute! 

So I came home - back to work in two hours!
