Bird On Ocotillo Sunset

The evening before the morning (of course, but check out tomorrow) and I  wasn't nearly mentally ready.  Then I saw this sunset. The bird looking at me from high on the ocotillo assured me that everything was going to be just fine. 

I rarely get a chance to photograph one of our amazing sunsets.  I was glad to get a piece of this one from the narrow view I have of the west from my backyard.  It was a nice image to have in my head as I laid it to rest on my pillow.
