Cat in the Veg

"I'll kill him!" was the comment from Mum when she observed Joey sitting in the middle of her veggies.

Yet there was some sense of relief as when we got home yesterday he was very sorry for himself, and seemed to have trouble moving. We wondered if he'd been hit by someone or something, or jumped off something badly. This morning he was still stiff, but there was nothing wrong with his appetite! He seems better this evening, and even managed to jump onto the shed roof, before jumping up onto Mum's trough of herbs, salads and vegetables.

The look on his face says 'Whats the matter?' and we didn't have the heart to tell him off. Eventually he came in at the rattle of his dinner dish, and is now curled up in his favourite spot at the end of Mum's bed.
