Loch Fyne at Inveraray

A sneaky weekend away. The most amazing weather, once we were out of Edinburgh. The sun suddenly started shining as we approached the Forth Bridge, and didn't stop all day.

We stopped at the top of the Rest on the way here (see extra). And the hotel is excellent.

After checking in, we hung out in the room for a while, enjoying the loch view (and anticipating that we might get a sunrise tomorrow morning) and then headed up town for dinner at The George. We don't think we've ever eaten there before, but we have had a drink. It seems to have upped its game. I had the best langoustines ever. And I mean it.
