High class Cumbria (Westmorland)

This amazing building is a fortified farmhouse in the Kentmere valley. The fortification was needed because of the border reivers who would come south and help themselves to cattle.
The extra is of a more conventional, but also lovely, house in the same valley.
Knottman will have to correct me if I am wrong to say it is really Westmorland - but I am almost sure I am right.
