Bridge of Doom

The same old bridge at Belhaven Bay, East Lothian, which has been such a saviour of lazy and temporarily failed photographers (namely me!) comes up trumps again today!

I read a very informative article by Ken Rockwell about my camera and the best settings to run it on.

So far I totally disagree with everything he says except that he really likes the Nikon D5100. I have persevered all day and it just doesn't work for me.

So this shot is made out of one of the more successful dramatic failures. It wasn't stormy, just broken grey cloud.
