the swan family

A good drive home and a few cups of tea (I would have liked a biscuit but they’d all been eaten in my absence) before heading out for a walk and a blip. 

This was my favourite photo by a long way. First there was just a swan and one cygnet, then a second cygnet arrived. They stayed as a group for some time with their heads going into and coming out of the water. I just kept shooting and had a mix of all heads down, two up one down, etc, etc. 

The trees have changed colour a lot in less than a week and loads of leaves have fallen. Still a lot of visitors around so I’ll need to think carefully about plans for the weekend.
