What is up...

..Is surely going to come down.

I swept up loads of leaves last weekend, and can see that there is a much (MUCH) bigger job ahead. Autumn is marching on.

I haven't been feeling overly creative in the image department.
The last two back-blips have only been an embarrassment, it's the simple fact that I'm attempting a picture a day that made me post them.

I did see something under the trees this morning which made me run for the camera, only to find it was an old polythene bag.

I've booked the optician appointment ;-/

I've also popped a butternut squash, tomato and chick pea curry into the oven to slow cook. It is wafting a rather fragrant aroma around. (Though when the judge, Mr Justice Caulfield, described Mary Archer as 'fragrant', in the famous libel action, I'm not sure this would be the kind of 'fragrant' to which he referred?).

It's Friday again.. Already.. And I'm pleased to report that the the forecast for this evening is definitely red, almost certainly clear and probably even (again) fragrant.
Mayhap even mellow and fruitful?

(A bit like the season).
