Haze

As dusk begins to envelop Cairo, farmers start to burn off the rice husks (I think that's what it's called). It's illegal but they have no other way of getting rid of this waste. The city becomes a choked-up haze every evening for a few weeks at this time of year, adding to the already high levels of air pollution.
