Olympic torch

This is my lovely mum (looking a little bit worse for wear it has to be said after last nights party!) holding the Olympic torch. I'd like to say she was a runner but more an enthusiastic spectator. Thank you to the torches owner for allowing a quick photo.

Party update: the party ended in the small hours of this morning with several hard core sat under the gazebo in the pouring rain! We thankfully stayed dry and the patio heaters kept us warm. My son got his guitar out and the oasis and Neil Diamond tunes started -Sweet Caroline sung by a tentfull of nutters will never quite sound the same again!

A great time was had by everyone and a lovely time to catch up with family that we haven't seen for years! A lot of hard work and preparation but well well worth it.
