Dedicated to "Just Be" and East Machias...

featuring a collage our very own beloved blipper Just Be and her summer home that we visited while on our Maine travels.  I had read so much about the history of this family home of Berelaxed"s and all about her grandmother Nora from her blips.It just seemed to bring her place here so much more "alive" having so much history about it known through her blips to all of us.  I could almost "feel" Nora's footsteps as Big R and I walked all around her family place. Just Be kindly told us where their place was and to freely walk about the grounds...which we did!
.  In this collage you see her home in the center, you see a view views from the cemetary behind their place, an image from close by Jasper Beach see here and also a harbor shot nearby..  She had mentioned eating many times at Helen's in Machias , Me. so of course we partook of the scrumptious food there a couple times!  Wonderful fish chowder with Haddock --a fish I love love and we don't get out here like back there!    And oh my...the blue berry pie--we split a slice pie a la mode style there:)  You can see Big R is enjoying it as well as one of him "stealing" an apple to eat from the apple tree in the cemetary behind her summer place. 
  What a very very historic and memory laden  place to visit this was and one of the most special hightlights of our time in Maine.  We both thank you for "sharing " your family summer East Machias home and surroundings---they really have come alive!
