Ullswater Country Fair - the Hound Class

I'm not sure what is judged here - but these were all judged as a group (three couple?).
They had to face a handler and the judge awarded this lovely group second. There was also terrier racing which was a sight to see - watching them race after a piece of synthetic fluff on a wire and then seriously hanging onto to it for all it was worth. We were surrounded by the Patterdale fells towering above us - it rained then sunned, then rained, then sunned.
A small gathering - and a loss probably made but enjoyable nonetheless. The cakes were huge, moist and beautiful and there was fun to be had choosing who was local (terrier in hand) and who were the tourists (clean coats!)...
