Symetrical Starlings

SO difficult to choose a photo today - love all the autumn colours, but also like these birds arrayed along the middle wire - I counted over 80 of them - not all in this photo. Why do they only sit on the middle wire - because it's highest?

Need to go fetch Zion from Girls Brigade in a bit and give him a bath, until his Mum comes from her Sutton Pastors meeting. Husband is pacing the kitchen, thinking how he can tear that apart - hopefully after he's finished putting hall and landing together again - he finished painting it today - wallpaper and carpet to go... maybe I'll put a "before" photo in the extra, and post an "after" another day...
