It was off to Kyoto today with close friends. The beautiful weather washed away all tiredness and made way for genuinely beautiful times in an extraordinary city. We had matcha beer and wonderful curry at the Iemon salon then journeyed into Arashiyama to enjoy the bamboo forest and our company. We found an excellent bar out in the middle of nowhere after a wonderful home-cooked dinner. These were special times. Thanks, M.
