I hope there is a pot of gold

As I might need to dip into it to pay the garage. A relatively minor issue in the mot, i.e. new bushes required on the rear radius arm, both sides. Parts come in at around £90 which is a bit of a rip off but I can live with that, but labour is dependent on how long it takes. A reasonable concept, but it also sounds like an open ended cheque book. Surely they know how long a routine job will take and can quote accordingly. I get the feeling that if it is a quiet day, they will bolster their income by taking as long as they feel they can get away with. That ladybird book I posted yesterday is too near the truth for my liking.
