I spent today in Glasgow with mum. She wanted a new chair for her sewing ...Nigel got us to a showroom and she ended up buying a lower desk! Then we went to the museum for the Royal Highland Fusilliers as mum is trying to trace my grandfather's war history . After requesting a search we had lunch then came back to Edinburgh ending with a happy 40 minute browse in a new quilting and fabric shop. Good day all round. The museum was in a Charles Rennie McIntosh building and it had these lovely iron railings.
