Evening all.

You do meet some interesting people if you walk down dark flat stairwells in certain parts of Doncaster at dusk.

Whilst the steps were not many and the encounters only few, they were rather colourful and edgy while they lasted.

To protect myself and my employers they have given me a hard plastic namebadge which has a built in panic alarm. If you pull a cord it contacts the police and they dispatch the rozzers to your address..if you can remember it.

I however have discovered a better use for it, take it off, hold it firmly by the neck cord and flail it around wildly like a 21st century mace,

very impressive in a crisis after all, but you can only fit in two strikes to the head before it shatters.

still one lump or two and a mug of hot sweet tea.
