Emily joined the boys on a proper walk this morning. She enjoyed it but was pleased to cuddle up to Charlotte when she got home. Alice makes an excellent puppy au pair giving Emily peace of mind to still lead the pack.

Simon helped me tidy the garden ready for winter. He's affordable labour at the price of a breakfast in the builders' cafe. A good day despite suffering for it now
