Salt Mine

This photo is taken through the windshield since cameras are not allowed.

The Great Salt Lake in Utah is home to many mining companies. It has a very wide variety of mineral that are mined. This photo shows just a very small portion of mounds salt that are around. Eventually this will be refined into Rock Salt at this plant.

It's a tiny opening and a small part of a 53 foot long, 14 foot high and 8.5 foot wide trailer. The wide angle just fit into the opening.

Headed back to western Oregon tonight.
