Life after dark
“Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.”
― Yoko Ono
An early evening sojourn into to Arnavutkoy with friends to have dinner - it was only half past six but already light was fading fast on this dull day of frequent rain. A nice cheerful evening though - Tony retired in July '14 after more than 30 years at this school and it is always good to see him and hear his stories of "life after teaching"..... the rewards of a career in perseverance.
