kowhai flowers

My kowhai tree is quite late flowering....it is so pretty though.


For those who have followed my Little Owl, he was released this morning to Willowbank(a wildlife centre). It has taken a while, he is partially blind but will be safe and fed regularly. He will be a highlight for visitors to the centre. He could not be released to the wild, so he will be happy there.
