GGSA2015

It's that time of year again. Except that the GGSA isn''t at a fixed time of year but October was an appropriate time for us to meet as it's 30 years ago this month that I first met Bob, Ash, Ross, and E in the Carnatic Halls of Residence at Liverpool University.

This year we've met up in Stratford and I thought I might be last to arrive as I squeezed in a meeting in Stoke on my way down but in fact Bob was the only one already in the Rose and Crown when I arrived. The others were hot on my heels, though, and we soon settled to it. 

Later, we moved onto the Black Swan and there was some very welcome Thai food at some point, as well as the potentially ill-advised addition of Pernod and black into our drinking. But what's the point of a 30 year anniversary if you're not going to celebrate in an appropriate manner?
