swan procession

A lovely morning with Sam and Dex visiting Sharon and the kids up the road. Dexter loves E and J and they love him.  He also loves climbing their stairs so we had to leave for a play in the park when the builders arrived...

As we got onto the canal these beautiful swans approached.  A family swimming in a perfect line, initially with the parents at either end.  We walked at their pace down to the park,  Partly because we had 3 kids in tow, but mainly because we were all captivated.  Throw in the gorgeous autumnal leaves and it was all pretty idyllic.
