Dew point

The sitting woman is one of Viktor Jansson's three sculptures in the Sorsapuisto park. The sun was just rising when I passed this charming lady covered with condensed water. Jansson created this work of art in 1923, his heirs donated this statue to the city of Tampere and in 2011 it was placed to the Sorsapuisto park. The sitting woman is an excellent example of Jansson's plain classicism. The sculpture is watching other Jansson's work called Kajastus on the other side of the Sorsapuisto pond.

October 13 is the Day for Failure. This day celebrates our shortcomings and failures. We need failures for success.
